What is happening?

THE SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL

Silver Drive (D3491) Frimley
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 24 March 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Silver Drive (D3491) Frimley as extends from its junction with (D3491) Herrick Close to its junction with (D3489) Goldney Road. 

Alternative Route: Goldney Road, Edgemoor Road, and Silver Drive, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate new water utility works for, or on behalf of Thames Water. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day, between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm, within the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 10 April 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency service vehicles, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. 

All other vehicular traffic, including residents, will be required to use the signed diversion route. 

The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises within the length of road above, or accessible only therefrom, may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.

Blackstroud Lane East (D21) Lightwater
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Blackstroud Lane East (D21) Lightwater as extends from its junction with (A322) Lightwater By-Pass to its junction with (D21) Burnt Pollard Lane. 

Alternative Route: Blackstroud Lane East, Windlesham Road, (A319) Bagshot Road, (A322) Gordons School Roundabout, (A322) Lightwater By-Pass, (A322) Bagshot By-Pass, and (A322) Lightwater By-Pass. 

This Order is required to facilitate carriageway repair works for, or on behalf of 1st Choice Traffic Management. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 days, between the hours of 8am and 4pm, within the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 20 April 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Access for emergency service vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other vehicular traffic will be required to follow the signed diversion route. 

The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises within the length of road above, or accessible only therefrom, may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.

Blackwater Valley Road (A331), Blackwater Valley Road
(D3435) and Frimley High Street (D3435) Frimley
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Sections 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of :- (a) the slip road leading from Blackwater Valley Road (A331) Frimley southbound; and (b) Blackwater Valley Road (D3435) Frimley and Frimley High Street (D3435) Frimley as extends from the eastern roundabout (leading to and from the southbound carriageway of the A331) to its junction with Station Approach (D3435).

Alternative route – A331 (Blackwater Valley Relief Road- (a) only to Coleford Bridge Road and return), A325 (Farnborough Road (to Bradfords Roundabout and return) and Frimley Bypass), B3411 (Frimley High Street) and Frimley High Street, or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to enabl e the Council to facilitate the installation of bridge parapets and safety barriers and associated works. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible during the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 9 April 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
