ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

TR08658 – Earles Lane in Wincham

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in WINCHAM to enable excavation of track in the verge, footway and carriageway with road crossing for overhead lines replacement works followed by jointing activities, backfill and reinstatement works to be carried out by MANWEB.

Earles Lane: Adjacent To Mereview To Sycamore House

Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes.

The Order will come into force on 07/04/2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately 3 weeks to complete.

Alternative routes for through traffic – Traffic should proceed via: Earles Lane, Church Street, Marston Lane, Earles Lane and vice versa.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

TR08661 – Winnington Street in Northwich

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in NORTHWICH to enable repair to sewer in carriageway works to be carried out by United Utilities Water Ltd.

Winnington Street: 0/S No 17 - 19 (CW8 1AQ)

Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes.

The Order will come into force on 08/04/2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately 12 days to complete.

Alternative routes for through traffic – Traffic should proceed via: Winnington Street, Winnington Lane, Runcorn Road, Warrington Road, Forest Road, Chester Road Bypass, Kingsmead, London Road, Chester Way, Winnington Street and vice versa.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

TR08662 – Brindley Avenue in Winsford

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in WINSFORD to enable excavation and laying of LV cable, works to be carried out by MANWEB.

Brindley Avenue: Junction of Moss Bank to Outside and Opposite 5

Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes.

The Order will come into force on 13/04/2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately 5 weeks to complete.

Alternative routes for through traffic – Traffic should proceed via: Moss Bank, Pulford Road, Brindley Avenue vice versa.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

TR08663 – Moss Bank in Winsford

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in WINSFORD to enable excavation and laying LV cable, works to be carried out by MANWEB.

Moss Bank: outside 27 to outside 29

Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes.
