NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Leeds City Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority (in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 32, 35, 45, 46, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers) proposes to make the above Order, the effect of which will be to introduce the following restrictions. 1. On Street Pay & Display Parking on the following sections of Concordia Street, Leeds. a. (SE Side); from a point 77m SW of its junction with Swinegate, for 5.5m in a SW direction. b. (NW Side; from a point 67metres SW of Swinegate, for 12m in a SW direction.
c. (East side; from a point 26m south of its junction with Swinegate, for 17m in a SW direction.
The following operational hours and parking charges (Central Short Stay Tariff) will apply to points a and b above.
Mon to Fri (8.00am to 10.00pm – 2 Hr Max Stay) – Up to 20 mins £1.80; Up to 40 mins £2.70; Up to 1 hr £3.60; Up to 90 mins £5.20; Up to 2 hrs £6.00; 6.00pm to 10.00pm £3.70. Sat (8.00am to 10.00pm) Up to 1 hr £1.40; Up to 2 hrs £2.40; Up to 3 hrs £3.40; Up to 4 hrs £4.40 Up to 5 hrs £5.40; 6.00pm to 10.00pm £3.70. Sun (10.00am to 10.00pm) Up to 4 hrs £2.50; Over 4 hrs £5.50; 6.00pm to 10.00pm £3.70.
The following Pay and Display Parking Charges Central Short Stay Tariff) will apply to point c above – all days of the Week (7.00pm to 10.00pm) £3.70.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Leeds City Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority (in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers) proposes to make the above Orders, the effect of which will be to introduce the following restrictions within the Chapel Allerton Ward. 1. No Waiting at any Time on sections of: Garmont Rd, Gledhow Park Dr; Granton Rd; Harrogate Rd; Ingle Row; Scott Hall Rd; St Martin’s Ave/Cres/Grove/Rd; St Mary’s Road & Wensley Drive. – Hunslet & Riverside Ward
Amendment To Proposals – No Waiting, Loading or
Unloading on Wellington Place
On 12 February 2026, Leeds City Council acting as the Local Traffic Authority (in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers) advertised the above proposed Order, the effect of which would be to introduce various waiting restrictions within the Hunslet & Riverside Ward. These proposals included No Waiting, Loading or Unloading on a section of Wellington Place; from a point 36.5 metres south of its junction with Wellington Street, in a southerly then south-westerly direction to its termination; between 7.00am and 10.00am or between 4.00pm and 7.00pm. It has now been decided to amend this restriction so that it will now apply between 7.00am and 7.00pm (inclusive). The reason for this amendment is to further address issues caused by parking and loading taking place throughout the day. The other previously advertised proposals, to introduce No Waiting at any Time on various sections of road within the Hunslet & Riverside Ward and No Stopping on School Entrance Markings (between 8.00am and 3.00pm (Monday to Friday only) on a section of Northcote Crescent; remain unchanged. 2025 – Guiseley & Rawdon Ward
On 19 March 2026, Leeds City Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 32, 35 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’), the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers, made the above Order. The effect of the Order, which comes into effect on 24 March 2026, is to introduce: 1. No Waiting at any Time along sections of Apperley La; Back La; Batter La; Bradford Rd; Carlton Mews; Focus Way; Gill La Invertrees Ave; Kirk La; Main St; Milners Rd; Moor La; Mount Pleasant; Netherfield Rd; New Road Side; Otley Rd; Oxford Ave; Park Rd; Parkinson Way; Ruskin Cres; Shakespeare Ro; South View; The Green; Town St; Tranfield Ave; Weavers Fold; West End Terr and West Villa Rd; Guiseley. 2. Time Limited Waiting Restrictions (8.00am to 6:00pm all days) on a section of Back Lane, Guiseley. 3. A Disabled Parking Places and on Victoria Road, Guiseley. A copy of the Order, together with related documentation may be obtained by e-mailing troteam@leeds.gov.uk. If you wish to object to or question the validity of the Order or any provision contained within it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of the Act or any instrument made under the Act has not be complied with in relation to the Order, you may within 6 weeks from the date upon which the Order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.

Traffic Calming Measures
St Chad’s Drive & Batcliffe Drive, Weetwood
Leeds City Council proposes to introduce the following traffic calming measures under Section 90C of the Highways Act 1980. 1. Six bituminous speed cushions; of 2m in length, 1.7m in width and 75mm above the carriageway level; to be located on St Chad’s Drive: three cushions at a distance of 9m SE of St Chad’s Avenue and three cushions at a distance of 80m west of St Chad’s Rise. 2. Five bituminous speed cushions, 2m in length, 17 in width and 75mm above the carriageway level, to be located on Batcliffe Drive: two cushions at a distance of 70m SE of St Chad’s Drive and three cushions at a distance of 66m NE of its junction with Batcliffe Mount. A copy of this Notice, the plan and full details of the proposals are available on request by e-mailing the address below.
