Taunton, Temporary Road Closure Due To Utility Chamber Replacement Works
What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Bishop’s Hull Temporary Closure of Bishops Hull Hill
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Bishops Hull Hill - from the junction with Haydon Close, westwards for a total distance of 87 metres.
This Order will enable Wessex Water to replace a chamber.
The Order becomes effective on 2nd April 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 7th April 2026 and last until 8th April 2026 between the hours of 08:00 - 16:00 for a total of 2 days.
