What is happening?
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(PAGET ROAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Paget Road
outside property 55.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken on 1 April 2026, between the hours of 09:30
and 15:30.
The diversion route is: Tettenhall Road, Henwood Road,
Compton Road West and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate repair/replacement of a
defective manhole frame and Cover by Severn Trent Water.
