This Order is required to facilitate electrical connection works for, or on behalf of ALS Civil Engineers. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, within 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 31 March 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. On 18 March 2026 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) the southbound carriageway of Bridge Street (B376) Staines Upon Thames as extends from its junction with (B376) Church Street to its junction with (A308) Clarence Street; (b) prohibit vehicles from exiting (X67546) Bridge Close from turning left into (B376) Bridge Street; (c) prohibit vehicles from exiting (A308) Staines Bridge from turning left into (B376) Bridge Street; (d) prohibit vehicles from exiting (A308) Clarence Street from turning right into (B376) Bridge Street. This Temporary Traffic Order is required to facilitate gas mains replacement works for, or on behalf of Cadent Gas. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 19 days between, the hours of 8am and 6pm, within the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 30 March 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary prohibitions, which are anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. The above restrictions shall not apply to vehicles being used in relation to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; or in accordance with any restrictions or requirement indicated by traffic signs placed on the road by or on behalf of the Police. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. It will not be possible to maintain access through the closure for emergency services, residents and businesses and all vehicular traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises within the length of road above, or accessible only therefrom, may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.
Chiddingfold Road (C34) Godalming
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 18 March 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Chiddingfold Road (C34) Godalming as extends from its junction with (C33) Plaistow Road to its junction with (X11399) Keeper Lane. Alternative Route: Chiddingfold Road, High Street Green, (A283) Petworth Road, (A283) Cripplecrutch Hill, Shillinglee Road, Dunsfold Road, and Plaistow Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate utility works for, or on behalf of UKPN. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day, between the hours of 8am and 11.59pm, within the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 03 April 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained via road plates. All other vehicular traffic, including residents, will be required to follow the diversion route. On 18 March 2026 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Hydons Ball Road (D162) Godalming (Rights of Way route 514) as extends from its junction with (C32) Hydon Heath and for a distance of 600 metres in a southerly direction. This Order is required to facilitate trunk main installation works and/or maintenance works for, or on behalf of Thames Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 5pm, within the 6-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 30 March 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists. On 13 March 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:- 1. prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of – (a) Vicarage Road (B388) Egham as extends from its junction with Pooley Green Road (C125) to its junction with High Street (B388); and (b) Pooley Green Road (C125) Egham as extends from its junction with Vicarage Road (B388) to its junction with Pooley Green Road Service Road (D3150); and 2. suspend “Surrey County Council Vicarage Road (B388) Egham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025” insofar as it affects the length of road described in 1.(a).

On 13 March 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Holmbury Hill Road (D280) Holmbury St Mary as extends from the access for the property known as “The Wilderness” to the access for the Mullard Space Science Laboratory.

On 18 March 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and (7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to: – 1. Prohibit vehicles and equestrians from entering or proceeding in that length of C43 Old Lane, Cobham that extends from the north-eastern property boundary to the south-eastern property boundary of “Ockham End”. 2. Suspend the “Surrey County Council C43 Old Lane, Cobham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026” in so far as it affects the length of C43 Old Lane, Cobham described above. This Traffic Order is required to enable BT Openreach to carry out telegraph pole replacement and/or cabling and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 6pm within 1 day of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 31 March 2026. On 18 March 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of C31 Snowdenham Lane, Bramley that extends from its junction with C31 Iron Lane, to its junction with A281 Bramley High Street. This Traffic Order is required to enable Morrison Telecom Services Limited/BT Openreach to carry out telegraph pole replacement and/or to carry out cabling and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 6pm within 1 day of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 01 April 2026. Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Great Goodwin Drive (D4011) Guildford westwards for a distance of 30 metres. Alternative Route – Bushy Hill Drive and Great Goodwin Drive. This 12-month Temporary Traffic Order which commences on 13 April 2026 is required to facilitate mains gas maintenance works and/or mains gas repair works and/or any other associated works to be carried out by, or on behalf of SGN within the length of road described in this notice. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible over 2 weeks between the hours of 8am and 5pm. Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of the north-westbound carriageway of Staines By-Pass (A308) Staines Upon Thames/Ashford as extends from its junction at the roundabout with (B377) Kingston Road and (B377) Fordbridge Road (also know as the “Ford Bridge” roundabout) to its junction at the roundabout with (A308) London Road and (A30) Staines By-pass/London Road (also known as the “Crooked Billet Roundabout”). Alternative Route – A30 London Road; Church Road; and Fordbridge Road. This 12-month Temporary Traffic Order which commences on 13April 2026 is required to facilitate resurfacing works and/or maintenance works and/or any other associated works to be carried out by, or on behalf of M Group within the length of road described in this notice. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible over 5 Nights between the hours of 10pm and 5.30am. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will operate only when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for the emergency services, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times, all other traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. This Order is required to facilitate bridge inspection works for, or on behalf of Network Rail. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 night, between the hours of 10pm and 6am, during the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 16 April 2026. This Order is required to facilitate water disconnection works for, or on behalf of Thames Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, within the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 14 April 2026. Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Sections 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles
from entering or proceeding in that length of:- (a) Staines Road West (A308) Sunbury-on-Thames as extends from its junction Sunbury Cross Roundabout (M3 Junction 1) to its junction with Cadbury Road (A244); and (b) Escot Road (D6245) Sunbury-on-Thames as extends from its junction with Staines Road West (A308) to a point 20 metres south of this junction.
Alternative route – Vicarage Road, Groveley Road and A244 (Cadbury Road), or this route in reverse. For vehicles exiting Escot Road – A308 (Staines Road West), Vicarage Road, Groveley Road and A244 (Cadbury Road). For vehicles accessing Escot Road – A308 (Staines Road West), Vicarage Road, Groveley Road, A244 (Cadbury Road) and A308 (Staines Road West).
This Order is required to enable the Council to facilitate installation of new detector loops, resurfacing and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible during the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 13 April 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of the western arm of D6848 Arbrook Lane, Esher at its junction with C158 Milbourne Lane: – as extends from a point 25m south of the junction of the eastern arm of D6848 Arbrook Lane with C158 Milbourne Lane, to the junction of the western arm of D6848 Arbrook Lane, with C158 Milbourne Lane. This Traffic Order is required to enable Thames Water to carry out carriageway reinstatement and/or access a manhole and/or carry out maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 9:30am and 3:30pm within 1 day of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 13 April 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. No sole access to property will be affected. Access for emergency services, residents, businesses, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times up to the point of works via the alternative route: – Milbourne Lane, Arbrook Lane. Access for pedestrians will be maintained at all times via the footway.

Temporary Traffic Management Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and (7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to: – 1.a) Prohibit vehicles that are proceeding in a south-easterly direction on C14 Clay Lane, Jacobs Well from turning left onto A3 Guildford – Godalming By-Pass. b) Prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of the on-slip to A3 Guildford – Godalming By-Pass. Alternative route: – Southeast on C14 Clay Lane and A3100 Clay Lane, to U-Turn at the roundabout junction of A3100 Clay Lane with D4041 Bowers Farm Drive to return northbound to turn right onto A3 Guildford – Godalming By-Pass. 2. Reduce the maximum speed limit to 30mph in that length of C14 Clay Lane and A3100 Clay Lane, Jacobs Well that extends from the northern side of “the Clay Lane Bridge”, northwards for a distance of 120m. 3. “The Surrey County Council Clay Lane (A3100/C14) and London Road (A3100)(30 MPH Speed Limit and 40 MPH Speed Limit)(Amendment) 2005” (as amended) shall be suspended insofar as imposes a speed limit of 40mph in the lengths of C14 Clay Lane and A3100 Clay Lane, Jacobs Well – Guildford described in Part 2. above.
This Traffic Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to carry out traffic signal refurbishment and/or repair and/or maintenance and/or highway works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 9pm and 5am, within 2 weeks of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 23 April 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary banned turn, closure, suspension and speed limit, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed . Access for pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. No access to any property will be affected. Access for emergency services, residents and businesses will be maintained at all times via the alternative route described above. The speed limit imposed by this Order shall not apply to vehicles used by special forces in accordance with the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 or in respect of anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or in accordance with any restriction or requirement indicated by traffic signs placed on the highway by or on behalf of the Police. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to:- (a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of the northbound carriageway of A3044 Stanwell Moor Road, Stanwell which extends from its junction with Park Road to its junction with Horton Road; (b) prohibit vehicles entering or proceeding in the right hand-lane (in any direction other than southwards) and in the left-hand lane of the southbound carriageway (in any direction other than northwards) of A3044 Stanwell Moor Road, Stanwell which extends from its junction with Horton Road to its junction with Park Road, and any parts thereof; (c) impose a 30mph speed limit in that length of A3044 Stanwell Moor Road, Stanwell which extends from its roundabout junction with A30 London Road to its roundabout junction with A3113 Airport Way. (d) suspend the Order imposing a 50mph speed limit on the length of A3044 Stanwell Moor Road, Stanwell as specified in part (c) above. This Order is required to enable Brownes to facilitate pipe installation and/or other associated works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 4 April 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, contra-flow, speed limit and suspension of the speed limit will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. The prohibitions referred to above will not apply: (i) in respect of anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; (ii) in respect of anything done in accordance with any restriction or requirement indicated by traffic signs placed on the highway by or on behalf of the Police. For sub-paragraph (c): The speed limit imposed by this Order shall not apply to vehicles used by special forces in accordance with the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011.
