(ROADS PROGRAMME) (BATCH 1) (2026/27) (ROAD CLOSURE) (391/56)

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984 Southampton City Council made the above Order on 9th March 2026.

1. The effect of the Order will be to will be to close the following:

FOR THE ROADS AND DETAILS PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE NOTICE (pdf format) SHOWN AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE.

2. The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road. These works are for carriageway resurfacing.

3. The alternative routes will be advertised locally.

4. The Order will come into force on 16th March 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the completion of the works, whichever is sooner. It is expected that the works will be completed by 13th September
