What is happening?

THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (LARWOOD AVENUE, WORKSOP) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026 (1340)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council Has Made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, Traffic Management Act 2004, as amended, and The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (County of Nottinghamshire) Designation Order 2008 (SI 2008 No. 1086), as amended, the effects of which will be in respect of roads at Worksop in the Bassetlaw District: ‑
1. Prohibition of Waiting At Any Time along the following lengths of road: -
LARWOOD AVENUE, WORKSOP (the east side)
From its north-eastern extremity of the build out in a north-easterly direction for 40 metres.
2. Other restrictions: - Bus Stop Clearway – No Stopping At Any Time, except Buses
LARWOOD AVENUE, WORKSOP (the east side)
From a point 21 metres from the north-eastern extremity of the build out in a north-easterly direction for 19 metres.

THIS ORDER WILL COME INTO FORCE ON 23rd MARCH 2026.
The proposals have been designed to prevent parking near to the build out at the GIVE WAY point which are causing issues.
