DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES – SCHEDULE 253

The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting)

and (Free Parking Places)

(Amendment No. H4) Order 20-

The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No. H5) Order 20-

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

1. The general effect of the Orders would be to:

a) Revoke the disabled parking places in the vicinity of: Nos. 9 and 12 Ansley Close, South Croydon, 20 Bensham Manor Road, Thornton Heath, No. 67a Euston Road Croydon, No. 85 Kynaston Avenue, Thornton Heath, No. 17 Lilac Gardens, Croydon, No. 447 Mitcham Road, Croydon, No. 55 Priory Road, Croydon, No. 33 Southcote Road, South Norwood, No. 23 Sunnydene Road, Purley, No. 317 Violet Lane, Croydon, and No. 109 Waddon Park Avenue, Croydon.

b) Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons’ badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following locations.

2. A copy of the proposed Orders and all related documents can be inspected Monday to Friday inclusive, until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, between 10am and 6pm, at Croydon Central Library, Katharine Street, Croydon CR9 1ET. Alternatively, all related documents or further information can be requested by email at Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk

3. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the, Parking Design Section, 3rd Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA or by emailing the Parking Design Team (email address above) quoting the reference: PD/CH/H4 & H5 by 02 April 2026.

NOTICE OF VARIATION OF PARKING CHARGES
CHARGES FOR ON-STREET PARKING IN THE CROYDON CONTROLLED PARKING ZONES & DISTRICT CENTRES, OFF-STREET CAR PARKS & MISCELLANEOUS CHARGES FOR PARKING BAY SUSPENSIONS, DISPENSATIONS & TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT ORDERS.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council, under Sections 35C and 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, and under all other enabling powers, by this notice of variation and Traffic Orders so that the charges specified therein and which apply to the parking places on-street and off-street designated by those Orders, and the charges that apply to permits used in off-street car parks and miscellaneous charges for parking bay suspensions, dispensations and Traffic Management Orders are now revised and superseded by the following new tariff structures specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

The provisions of this Notice will take permanent effect on the 07 April 2026.
