(50 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council, in exercise of its powers under Section 84 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, proposes to make an Order to introduce a 50 miles per hour speed limit on the length of road described in the Schedule to this notice and as detailed in the schedule to the draft Order. The effect of the proposed Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 50 miles per hour on the road specified in the Schedule below.

A copy of the proposed Order, and plan showing the exact length of road to which it relates and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be:
