(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026 (ODDFELLOWS STREET/INDUSTRIAL STREET/GATHORNE STREET/
HARDY STREET, BRIGHOUSE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Northern Gas Networks, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Oddfellows Street/Industrial Street/Gathorne Street/Hardy Street from outside No. 131 Bradford Road to the junction of Oddfellows Street for a distance of approximately 22 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained via the diversion route. Diversion route will be signed on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 26th March 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 5th May 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(THORNHILL BRIDGE LANE, BRIGHOUSE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Northern Gas Networks, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Thornhill Bridge Lane from outside No. 11 Thornhill Bridge Lane to the junction of Bradford Road for a distance of approximately 21 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained via the diversion route. The alternative route is via the unaffected part of Thornhill Bridge Lane, Garden Road, Rayner Road, Bradford Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 26th March 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 17th April 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(TOWER HILL, SOWERBY BRIDGE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Tower Hill from No. 2 to No.3a a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Corporation Street, Hollins Mill Lane, Wharf Street. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 30th March 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 3rd April 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(UPPER LANE, NORTHOWRAM)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Rapid Response Telecoms, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Upper Lane from Little London Cottage to side of No. 117 a distance of approximately 95 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Lanes Head Lane, Hall Lane, Northowram Green, Towngate. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 30th March 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 1st April 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.

(WHITEGATE ROAD, SIDDAL)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Whitegate Road from The Boiler House to Paris Gates a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Boys Lane, Shaw Lane, Shaw Hill, A629, Jubilee Road, Oxford Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 30th March 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 31st March 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 23:00 & 05:00.

(GREEN LANE, WEST VALE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Ward and Burke Construction Ltd, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Green Lane from Stainland Road to Rochdale Road a distance of approximately 52 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. One way closure via Rochdale Road, Stainland Road. Access to car park will be maintained. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 1st April 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 1st April 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 19:00 & 23:59.

(NEW LANE, SOWERBY)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Poletek Communications Ltd, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of New Lane from junction with Cat Lane to Steep Lane a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Cat Lane, Hollins Lane, Broad Lane, Acre Lane, Shield Hall Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 1st April 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 2nd April 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.

(BUTTS GREEN ROAD, LUDDENDENFOOT)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by OCU Utility Services, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Butts Green Road from junction with Greystones Road to No.13 for a distance of approximately 200 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Butts Green Road, Great Edge Road, Water Hill Lane, Blackwall Lane, Burnley Road, Warley Wood Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 23rd March 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 7th May 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(EDGEHOLME LANE, WARLEY)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Sapphire Utility Solutions Ltd, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Edgeholme Lane from No. 7 to No.3 for a distance of approximately 30 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Stock Lane, Gibbet Street, Roils Head Road, Newlands Road, Peter Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 23rd March 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 27th March 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(GREYSTONES ROAD, LUDDENDENFOOT)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by OCU Group, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Greystones Road from its junction with Magson House Road to Butts Green Road for a distance of approximately 200 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Magson House Road, Warley Wood Lane, Burnley Road, Water Hill Lane, Great Edge Road, Butts Green Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 23rd March 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 7th May 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(SPENCER LANE, ERRINGDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Spencer Lane from No. 8 to junction of New Road/Back Lane for a distance of approximately 175 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. No alternative route available – access for residents will be maintained. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 23rd March 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 3rd April 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(SHUTTS LANE, NORWOOD GREEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by OCU Group, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Shutts Lane outside Priestley Farm for a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Shutts Lane, Norwood Green Hill, Village Street, Rookes Lane, Whitehall Road, Syke Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th March 2026 and remain in force  for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th March 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.

(STAINLAND ROAD, ELLAND)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Future Network Solutions, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Stainland Road from No. 350 to No. 364 for a distance of approximately 71 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via High Street, Beestonley Lane, Stainland Road, Saddleworth Road, Stainland Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 27th March 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 31st March 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:30 & 18:00.

(OCCUPATION LANE, ILLINGWORTH)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Northern Gas Networks, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Occupation Lane from its junction with School Lane to side of 63 Moor Bottom Road for a distance of approximately 15 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Occupation Lane, Illingworth Road, Tewit Lane, School Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 28th March 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 12th April 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(BLUE BALL ROAD, RIPPONDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Blue Ball Road from its junction with Coal Gate Road to Blue Ball Lane a distance of approximately 210 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Blue Ball Lane, A58 Rochdale Road, Nursery Lane, Ripponden Old Lane, unaffected part of Blue Ball Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th March 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 27th March 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(VICTORIA ROAD, TODMORDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Centurion Traffic Management, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Victoria Road from its junction with Albert Street to Blind Lane a distance of approximately 80 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Victoria Road, Burnley Road, Stansfield Road, Vale Street, Wellington Road, Garden Street, Victoria Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 27th March 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 17th April 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(STYES LANE, SOWERBY BRIDGE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Aureos, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Styes Lane from its junction with Pinfold Lane to Finkle Street a distance of approximately 320 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Spring View Road, Jerry Fields Road, Brocks, Sowerby Lane, Pinfold Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th March 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 26th March 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:00 & 17:00.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Aureos, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Swamp Road from its junction with Stoney Lane/Styes Lane to Finkle Street a distance of approximately 155 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Spring View Road, Jerry Fields Road, Sowerby Lane, Acre Lane, Sowerby Lane, Pinfold Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 26th March 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 27th March 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:00 & 17:00.

(MARLBOROUGH ROAD, HEBDEN BRIDGE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Poletek Communications Ltd, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Marlborough Road from junction with Blenheim Street to Marlborough Terrace a distance of approximately 25 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Wadsworth Lane, Birchcliffe Road, School Street, Balmoral Street. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 8th April 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 9th April 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.

(SHERWOOD ROAD, BRIGHOUSE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Northern Gas Networks, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Sherwood Road from junction with Wakefield Road to Myers Building a distance of approximately 10 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Armytage Road, George Street, Wakefield Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 8th April 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 21st April 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(STAINLAND ROAD, ELLAND)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Future Network Solutions, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Stainland Road from No. 350 to No. 364 for a distance of approximately 71 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via High Street, Beestonley Lane, Stainland Road, Saddleworth Road, Stainland Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 8th April 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 10th April 2026. (STANSFIELD MILL LANE, TRIANGLE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by OCU Utility Services Ltd, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Stansfield Mill Lane from Rochdale Road to The Herons for a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. No alternative route, access for residents only. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 9th April 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 9th April 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.

(WATER STREET, TODMORDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Water Street from No.15 to No. 29 for a distance of approximately 56 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Rochdale Road, Halifax Road, Bond Street, Dale Street. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 9th April 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 9th April 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:00 & 15:00.
