(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026 (ODDFELLOWS STREET/INDUSTRIAL STREET/GATHORNE STREET/
HARDY STREET, BRIGHOUSE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Northern Gas Networks, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Oddfellows Street/Industrial Street/Gathorne Street/Hardy Street from outside No. 131 Bradford Road to the junction of Oddfellows Street for a distance of approximately 22 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained via the diversion route. Diversion route will be signed on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 26th March 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 5th May 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(THORNHILL BRIDGE LANE, BRIGHOUSE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Northern Gas Networks, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Thornhill Bridge Lane from outside No. 11 Thornhill Bridge Lane to the junction of Bradford Road for a distance of approximately 21 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained via the diversion route. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Tower Hill from No. 2 to No.3a a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Corporation Street, Hollins Mill Lane, Wharf Street. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Rapid Response Telecoms, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Upper Lane from Little London Cottage to side of No. 117 a distance of approximately 95 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Lanes Head Lane, Hall Lane, Northowram Green, Towngate. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Whitegate Road from The Boiler House to Paris Gates a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Boys Lane, Shaw Lane, Shaw Hill, A629, Jubilee Road, Oxford Lane. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Ward and Burke Construction Ltd, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Green Lane from Stainland Road to Rochdale Road a distance of approximately 52 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. One way closure via Rochdale Road, Stainland Road. Access to car park will be maintained. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 1st April 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 1st April 2026. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Poletek Communications Ltd, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of New Lane from junction with Cat Lane to Steep Lane a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Cat Lane, Hollins Lane, Broad Lane, Acre Lane, Shield Hall Lane. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Butts Green Road, Great Edge Road, Water Hill Lane, Blackwall Lane, Burnley Road, Warley Wood Lane and vice versa. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Future Network Solutions, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Stainland Road from No. 350 to No. 364 for a distance of approximately 71 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via High Street, Beestonley Lane, Stainland Road, Saddleworth Road, Stainland Road and vice versa. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Northern Gas Networks, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Occupation Lane from its junction with School Lane to side of 63 Moor Bottom Road for a distance of approximately 15 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point.
