THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:

Bruce Street, Falkirk from 08:00 on 21/03/26 until 23:59 on 28/03/26. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Bruce Street, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Thornhill Road in a north-easterly direction for approximately 50 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Thornhill Road, King Street, Grange Drive, Bruce Street or vice versa.

Bo’ness Road, Polmont from 08:00 on 23/03/26 until 16:00 on 06/04/26. The prohibition is to allow for Utility works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Bo’ness Road, Polmont from a point adjacent to Main Street in a northerly direction for approximately 100 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: A803, C30, A9, A905, C71, C51 or vice versa.

Glenfuir Road, Falkirk from 08:00 until 15:30 on 23/03/26. The prohibition is to allow for Canal Works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Glenfuir Road, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Camelon Road in a southerly direction for approximately 100 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is:
East:- B816, A9, Union Road, Lock 16, B816
West:- B816, Lock 16, Union Road, A9 westwards, Camelon Roundabout, A9 eastwards, B816

Seaton Place, Falkirk from 08:00 until 16:00 on 23/03/26. The prohibition is to allow for Cherry Picker Access to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Seaton Place, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Paterson Tower in a westerly direction for approximately 100 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Not applicable

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2026

The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit waiting in:

Central Boulevard, Larbert from 08:00 on 23/03/26 until 17:00 on 06/04/26. The prohibition is to allow for Utility works to be undertaken.
1. This order prohibits waiting on Central Boulevard, Larbert from a point adjacent to Police Station Entrance in a northerly direction on both sides for approximately 240 metres or thereby.

Russel Street/George Street, Falkirk from 09:30 until 15:30 on 23/03/26. The prohibition is to allow for Telecommunications works to be undertaken.
1. This order prohibits waiting on Russel Street/George Street, Falkirk from a point adjacent to their junction in all directions on both sides for approximately 50 metres or thereby.

Main Street/Miller Place, Airth from 09:30 until 18:00 on 26/03/26. The prohibition is to allow for Ironworks repairs to be undertaken.
1. This order prohibits waiting on Main Street/Miller Place, Airth from a point adjacent to their junction in all directions on both sides for approximately 55 metres or thereby.
