What is happening?

On or after 07:00hrs 1st April 2026 until 19:00hrs 31st August

The roads will be closed on up to 5 separate occasions, with
each occasion lasting no longer than 3 consecutive days. Works
may occur on a weekend. This process is weather dependant
and as such exact dates for each location cannot be given.

THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY
THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council have
made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
be executed on or near the roads and the effect will be to
prohibit any vehicle from entering, proceeding or waiting in those
length of road at Moss, Burghwallis and Norton in the City of
Doncaster District and suspend the 7.5 tonnes weight restriction
as described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and
times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works for Provision of specialist carriageway
surface dressing, subsequent road markings, removal and
installation of road studs is undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is as described in the schedule to this
notice.
Any vehicle that is in contravention of the waiting restriction
imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of
the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986. Any
contravention of the prohibitions or restrictions imposed by this
Order may result in a Penalty Charge Notice being issued and
the subsequent removal of a vehicle.

Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
be executed on or near the roads and the effect will be to

prohibit any vehicle from entering, proceeding or waiting in those
lengths of the A60 Tickhill Road at Loversall, A60 Wadworth Hill
and A60 Main Street at Wadworth in the City of Doncaster
District as described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates
and times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce the workforce and the general public, to prohibit all
vehicular traffic during those times and dates shown above whilst
works for the provision of specialist carriageway surface
dressing, subsequent road markings, removal and installation of
road studs is undertaken.

affected by the Order is as described in the Schedule to this
notice.

Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
