What is happening?

SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL (STOPPING RESTRICTIONS, WAITING RESTRICTIONS, LOADING RESTRICTIONS & PARKING PLACES) (MAP SCHEDULE) (CONSOLIDATION NO.2) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 5 March 2026 Sheffield City Council made the above Order which comes into operation on 9 March 2026 under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the above named Order will be to consolidate all stopping restrictions, waiting restrictions, loading restrictions and parking places provisions in all roads within Sheffield as marked on street and indicated by traffic signs. The Order does not introduce, amend or revoke any existing restrictions. Its sole purpose is to consolidate existing provisions into a single Order for administrative purposes.

A copy of the Order may be inspected within the Sealed Traffic Orders section on the Council website at

or examined during normal opening hours at First Point Reception, Howden House, 1 Union Street, Sheffield, S1 2SH

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the enabling Act or that a requirement of the enabling Act or any of the relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within six weeks of 9 March 2026, make application for that purpose to the High Court.
