The Council has made the above named Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on the A904 Westfield Roundabout to the junction of Laurieston Road from 20.00 hours to 06.00 hours (on consecutive dates) from 19/03/2026 to 21/03/2026. The prohibition is to allow for the installation of sheet piling next to Midthorn Bridge.

2. This Order temporarily closes the A904 between Westfield Roundabout to the junction with Laurieston Road.
3. The alternative route is:
A9 Laurieston Link Road, A9 Laurieston Bypass, Cadgers Brae Interchange, A905 Beancross Road, Earlsgate Interchange, A904 Falkirk Road and vice versa.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
(NO.TTRO/1973) ORDER 2026
The Council has made the above named Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on Blackston Road, Avonbridge from 08.00 hours on 23/03/2026 until 16.30 hours on 15/05/2026. The prohibition is to allow for the replacement of the U150813/10 footbridge.

2. This Order temporarily closes Blackstone Road at the U150813/10 Footbridge, approximately 30m west of the bridge and approximately 30m east of the bridge. Specific location, Sunnybrae, 450m east of the Falkirk Road junction.
3. U150813/10 Footbridge west on U150813 Blackston Road, north on Falkirk Road, west on Standburn Road and southeasterly on Unclassified Road then west on Blackston Road and vice versa. Local access will be maintained.
