What is happening?

No.2) ORDER 2026 (AMENDMENT NO.*) ORDER 202*

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Sheffield City Council proposes to make an Order under
the provisions of Sections 1, 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 46A, 49, 51, 53 and
124(1)(c), (d) (f) and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order will be to introduce Bicycle Hangar Parking Places on parts of Albert
Road, Anns Road, Bates Street, Beeton Road, Blakeney Road, Bosworth Street, Brighton
Terrace Road, Cross Lane, Empire Road, Heavygate Avenue, Holtwood Road, Meersbrook
Park Road, Norton Lees Road, Pat Midgley Lane, Robertson Road, Rushdale Road, South
View Road, Suthard Cross Road, Ulverston Road, Upper Valley Road.

Copies of the proposed Orders, plans showing the roads concerned and a statement of the
Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may also be examined during normal
opening hours at First Point Reception, Howden House, 1 Union Street, Sheffield, S1 2SH.
Any observations, either supporting or objecting to the proposed Orders, including the
grounds for your objection, should be sent through the web addresses provided or in writing
to the undersigned by 16 April 2026.
