Middledyke Lane - Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic For Works
What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1)
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
MIDDLEDYKE LANE/ ORCHARD PARK ROAD, COTTINGHAM
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Middledyke Lane/Orchard Park Road, Cottingham on 7,8,9 April 2026 to allow clearing of debris to take place.
The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.
The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed within the given time.
The road will be closed to all traffic, however access will be maintained for residents, pedestrians and emergency services only.
