(TEMPORARY PARKING SUSPENSION) ORDER 2026 -TTRO/R 5.4.326
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Midlothian Council has made a temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, suspending parking on the roads listed in the below Schedule. The Order shall have effect on 21 March 2026 and shall remain in force up to and including 21 March 2027.
The restriction is necessary to facilitate the safe passage of heavy goods vehicles for the new Persimmon Homes development at River Gore View.
Schedule:-
• Castle Avenue (both kerblines) – from the junction with Hunterfield Road to Lady Emily Way
• Lady Emily Way (both kerblines) – from the junction with Castle Avenue to River Gore View
• River Gore View (both kerblines) – the full length from the junction with Lady Emily Way
The parking laybys/areas on these roads are exempt from the restriction.

TEMPORARY CLEARWAY (RESTRICTION ON STOPPING) ORDER 2026 TTRO/R 5.4.322
The Midlothian Council hereby give notice under section 14(1)(b) and 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, that a restriction on stopping on the carriageway and verge on the U80 Gladhouse, from the junction at C42 Upperside to Tweeddaleburn Road for a distance of 2766m or thereby, will be in operation from 30 March 2026 up to and including 4 October 2026. The restriction will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the length of road as is indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
