NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Masefield Road, Oaklea Avenue and Christchurch Road at intervals between Monday 23rd March and Friday 12th June 2026.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative routes will be via:
(i) Masefield Road via Edward Road, Grove Road, Barnsley Road, Shakespeare Road, Dryden Road, Stokewell Road and vice versa.
(ii) Oaklea Avenue via Byron Crescent, Dryden Road, Stokewell Road and vice versa.
(iii) Christchurch Road via Masefield Road, Oaklea Avenue, Melton High Street, Firth Road, Brampton Road and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads (Installation of new sewer).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the part of road specified in item (i) of the Schedule to this Notice and to prohibit any vehicle from carrying out the turning manoeuvre specified in items (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) of the Schedule to this Notice from Monday 30th March until Monday 11th May 2026. NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via Salisbury Road and Braithwell Road.

(Consolidation) Order 2004 and reduce the speed limit from 60 miles hour to 30 miles per hour for motor vehicles travelling along Goosecarr Lane from the existing 30mph speed limit signs for a distance of approximately 300m in a westerly direction on Monday 23rd March 2026.

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily suspend parts of The Rotherham Borough Council (Various Roads, Rotherham) (Speed Limits and Speed Derestriction) (Consolidation) Order 2004 and to reduce from 40 miles per hour to 10 miles per hour the speed limit for motor vehicles travelling along the part of A57 Worksop Road specified in item (i) of the schedule to this notice and to reduce from 50 miles per hour to 10 miles per hour the speed limit for motor vehicles travelling along the part of A57 Worksop Road specified in item (ii) of the schedule to this notice from Monday 30th March until Saturday 7th April 2026 between 7.30pm and 5.30am each day.
