SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC BULMER LANE,
HOLME UPON SPALDING MOOR
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire
Council intends not less than seven days from the date
of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will
be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along
Bulmer Lane, Holme Upon Spalding Moor between
09.30am - 16.30pm commencing 7 April 2026
to allow works for tree felling, to achieve a vegetation
safety clearance from the overhead high and low
voltage electricity supply network on Bulmer Lane,
Holme Upon Spalding Moor. The road closure is
necessary to enable the works to be carried out in
a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the
public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is
anticipated that the works will be completed within
seven hours. The alternative route for traffic affected
by the road closure will be via Bulmer Lane, Baileywood
Lane, Sands Lane and Selby Road, Holme Upon Spalding
Moor CP, Howdenshire Ward. The diversion route will
be signed at the time of closure.
The road will be closed to all traffic but access will be
maintained for emergency vehicles.
