ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

BRIDGE STREET AND CHURCH STREET, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To provide safe area for demolition works.
Order Commences: 17 November 2025 for up to 18 months.
Unfortunately, these works were again delayed but are now
rescheduled to 30 March 2026.
Anticipated Completion: 8 May 2026.
Access & Diversion: Bond Gate, Bond Street, Newtown Road, Harefield Road, Newdegate Street and vice versa.

B4113 COVENTRY ROAD, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from Gipsy Lane to Hill Street.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.00hrs.
Order Commences: 8 January 2026 for up to 18 months. 
Due to inclement weather these works were postponed but have now been rescheduled as follows: 1st-2nd April 2026
Access & Diversion: B4113 Coventry Road, A444, B4113
(Pickards Way/Longford Road/Coventry Road/Black Bank/Coventry Road/Sergeant Simon Valentine Way/Rye Piece Ringway/Leicester Road/Nuneaton Road) and vice versa.

PICKARDS WAY, BEDWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic westbound from Longford Road to Bedworth Bypass.
Reason for Order: Construction of a junction and diverge auxiliary lane westbound. Overnight 20.00hrs-06.00hrs.
Order Commences: 25 March 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 27 March 2026.
Access & Diversion: Longford Road, Coventry Road, Black Bank, Sergeant Simon Valentine Way, King Street, Rye Piece Ringway, Leicester Road, Nuneaton Road, Bedworth Bypass.

D14980 MARSTON LANE, MARSTON JABBETT, BEDWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from Forders Lane to B4112 Nuneaton Road.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 08.00hrs-16.00hrs.
Order Commences: 22 March 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 22 March 2026.
Access & Diversion: Marston Lane, Leicester Road, Rye Piece Ringway, King Street, Bulkington Road, Bedworth Road, School Road, New Street, Rugby Road, B4112 Nuneaton Road and vice versa.

ATHERSTONE ROAD, HARTSHILL
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To construct new electric supply.
Order Commences: 24 March 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 27 March 2026.
Access & Diversion: Mancetter Road, Camp Hill Road, Coleshill Road, School Hill, Church Road, Castle Road, The Green, Atherstone Road and vice versa.

B41140 CORPORATION STREET, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from A444 to Central Avenue.
Reason for Order: Carriageway structural patching and associated works, overnight 20.00hrs-06.00hrs.
Order Commences: 20 March 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 21 March 2026.
Access & Diversion: A444, Queens Road, Manor Court Road and vice versa.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
WHEAT STREET & VICARAGE STREET, NUNEATON

Order Effect: Wheat Street closed to vehicular traffic. In addition, Right Turns from Vicarage Street on to Wheat Street will be temporarily prohibited.
Reason for Order: To enable works for existing signal conversion.
Order Commences: 7 April 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 11 December 2026.
Access & Diversion: Wheat Street, Regent Street, Leicester Road, Vicarage Street, Church Street, King Edward Road and vice versa.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
