Alloa Half Marathon (Temporary Road Closures) Order 2026
The Council has made “The Clackmannanshire Council (Alloa Half Marathon) (Temporary Road Closures) Order 2026, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 3rd February 2026.
Under Schedule 1, to close to vehicles the section of road at A91 Tillicoultry – Menstrie (from its junction with A908 westwards to its junction with C101 Cambus Road, a distance of 6.7 kilometres or thereby), (Alternative route: Via A908, B9140 and vice versa, Alternative route for HGV’s: Via A908, B9140 and vice versa). B9140 Tullibody Bypass (From Dumyat View Roundabout to Muirside Roundabout, a distance of 980 metres or thereby). (Alternative route: Via A907). B9140 Tullibody to Glenochil (From Muirside roundabout eastwards to the 40mph speed limit at Glenochil west side, a distance of 930 metres or thereby). (Alternative route: Via A907). C101 Menstrie Road, Tullibody (from its junction with B9140 Muirside roundabout southward to its junction with B9096 Alloa Road, a distance of 445 metres or thereby). C101 Menstrie to Muirside Roundabout (from its junction with A91 southwards to its junction with Muirside Roundabout, a distance of 1500 metres or thereby). (Alternative – Via B9140, A907, A91). The order runs from 0900 hours until 1230 hours on Sunday 22nd March 2026.
Under Schedule 2; to close to vehicles the section of road at A907 King Street, Alloa (Eastbound – from its junction with Marshall Roundabout eastwards until its junction with Shillinghill Roundabout, for a distance of 440 metres or thereby); A908 Whins Road, Alloa (Northbound only: from its junction with Shillinghill Roundabout northwards until its junction with Whins Road Roundabout, for a distance of 650 metres or thereby); A908 Hallpark (Northbound only: from its junction with Whins Road Roundabout until its junction with B908 Fairfield, Sauchie, for a distance of 530 metres or thereby); A908 Main Street, Sauchie (Northbound only: from its junction with B908 Fairfield, Sauchie in a northerly direction, to its junction with B9140 in Fishcross, for a distance of 1720 metres or thereby – southbound carriageway will remain open over the above section of road), Main Street, Sauchie (uncl.) (from a point 50 metres or thereby north east of Braeside, to its junction with A908 Main Street, Sauchie for a distance of 75 metres or thereby); Craigbank, Sauchie (from its junction with A908 Main Street, Sauchie in a north westerly direction for distance of 10 metres or thereby); Access to rear of shops at nos. 57-85 Main Street, Sauchie (from its junction with A908 Main Street in a north westerly direction for distance of 10 metres or thereby); Craigview, Sauchie (from its junction with A908 Main Street, Sauchie in a north westerly direction for a distance of 10 metres or thereby); (Diversion: Via A907, A977, B913, B9140. Local traffic diversion routes will be signposted). The Glen, Coalsnaughton (from its junction with A908 southwards until its junction with Drummie Road, a distance of 30 metres or thereby). Alternative route: Via Main Street, B9140, B913, A91 and vice versa. Marchglen, Tillicoultry (from its junction with A908 northwards for a distance of 350 metres or thereby). The order runs from 0900 hours until 1100 hours on Sunday 22nd March 2026.
Under Schedule 3; to close to vehicles the section of road at A908 Fishcross–Devonside (Both Directions – from its junction with B9140 northwards to its junction with The Glen, a distance of 2.5 kilometres or thereby). Alternative route: Via B9140, Main Street, The Glen and vice versa. Alternative route for HGV’s: Via B9140, B913, A91 and vice versa. The order runs from 0900 hours until 1130 hours on Sunday 22nd March 2026.
Under Schedule 4; to close to vehicles the section of road at Alloa Road, Tullibody (from its junction with The Braes (east most junction) eastwards until its junction with Ormiston Drive, a distance of 870 metres or thereby). Alternative route: Via B9096, A907, B9096 and vice versa. The order runs from 0700 hours until 1300 hours on Sunday 22nd March 2026.
Under Schedule 5; to close to vehicles the section of road at Ashley Terrace, Henderson Avenue, Shaftsbury Street, Hill Street, Ludgate House entrance, Greenfield House entrance, Parkway Court (at its junction with B9096 Tullibody Road). The order runs from 0900 hours until 1000 hours on Sunday 22nd March 2026.
Henry Street, Alva (Temporary Removal Of One Way Traffic) Order 2026
The Council has made “The Clackmannanshire Council (Henry Street, Alva) (Temporary Removal of One Way Traffic) Order 2026, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 3rd February 2026; where there will be removal of one way traffic at Henry Street, Alva (from its junction with Brook Street eastwards for a distance of 27 metres or thereby); The order runs from 0900 hours until 1200 hours on Sunday 22nd March 2026 or until race has cleared section. The order is necessary to allow traffic to access and exit with care during the Alloa Half Marathon.
Various Streets, Clackmannanshire (Temporary No Waiting Or Loading Restriction) Order 2026
The Council has made “The Clackmannanshire Council (Various Streets, Clackmannanshire) (Temporary No Waiting or Loading Restriction) Order 2026, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 3rd February 2026; where there will be no waiting or loading at Sunnyside Road, Alloa (from its junction with Parkway northwards until its junction with Ashley Terrace, a distance of 370 metres or thereby); Ashley Terrace, Alva; Tullibody Road, Alloa; Mar Place, Alloa; King Street, Alloa; Whins Road, Alloa; Hallpark Road, Alloa; Main Street, Sauchie, Alloa Road, Fishcross; Bankhead Road, Fishcross; A908 Fishcross–Tillicoultry – for its entirety, A91 Tillicoultry–Menstrie (from its junction with A908 westwards until its junction with C101, a distance of 6.7 kilometres or thereby), C101 Menstrie–Tullibody (from its junction with A91 southwards until its junction with B9096, a distance of 1.98 kilometres or thereby), B9096 Tullibody–Alloa (from its junction with C101 eastwards until its junction with B908 Parkway, a distance of 3.4 kilometres or thereby). The order runs from 0700 hours until 1230 hours on Sunday 22nd March 2026 or until race has cleared section. The works are necessary to facilitate the safe passage of participants in the Alloa Half Marathon.
