THE A92 TRUNK road (PRESTON ROUNDABOUT) (40MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 202[]

THE SCOTTISH MINISTERS hereby give notice that they propose to make the above Order under sections 84(1)(a) and (c) and 124(1)(d) of, and paragraph 27 of schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 which will have the effect of imposing a 40mph speed limit on that length of the A92/A972 Kirkcaldy – Dundee Trunk Road from a point, 65 metres of thereby north of the give way marking on the A92 trunk road northern arm of Preston Roundabout, Glenrothes, to a point, 250 metres or thereby south of the give way marking on the A92 trunk road southern arm of Tullis Russell Roundabout, Glenrothes,  to tie in with the existing 40mph Speed limit at Tullis Russell Roundabout, a distance of 560 metres or thereby. Full details of the proposal are contained in the Order which, together with a plan showing the lengths of road involved and a statement of the Scottish Ministers’ reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be examined free of charge during normal business hours from 19th March 2026 until 20th April 2026 at The Co-Op,

Glenrothes, KY7 5RA and at the offices of Transport Scotland, 177 Bothwell Street, Glasgow, G2 7ER.
