NOTICE OF PROPOSAL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(BANNER CLOSE, DOCTORS LANE AND TINCKLERS LANE, ECCLESTON AND MAWDESLEY, CHORLEY BOROUGH) (REVOCATION, 20MPH AND 40MPH SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 202*

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council propose to make the above Speed Limit Order under Sections 82(2), 83(2) and 84 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:
1. Revoke the following:
a) The "Lancashire County Council (Bluestone Lane, Hall Lane, Syd Brook Lane, Tinklers Lane And Meadow Lane, Mawdsley And Croston, Chorley Borough) (Part Revocation 30 Mph, 40 Mph And 50mph Speed Limits) Order 2012" insofar as it relates to Item (i) of Schedule 3.
b) The "Lancashire County Council (The Fields/Beechfields Including Draper Avenue Area Zone, Eccleston, Chorley Borough) (20mph Speed Limit) Order 2008" insofar as it relates to Doctors Lane in Schedule 1.
2. Introduce a 20mph speed limit on the following lengths of road:
a) Banner Close, Eccleston, the entire length;
b) Doctors Lane, Eccleston, from its junction with The Green to a point 37 metres west of its junction with the centreline of Banner Close.
3. Introduce a 40mph speed limit on the following lengths of road:
a) Tincklers Lane, Eccleston, from a point 272 metres south west of its junction with Towngate for a distance of 358 metres in a southerly direction;
b) Tincklers Lane, Eccleston, from its junction with Tincklers Lane, Mawdesley to a point 146 metres west of its junction with Doctors Lane;
c) Tincklers Lane, Mawdesley, the entire length.

A copy of the draft Order and associated documents for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Chorley Borough Council, Town Hall, Market Street, Chorley, PR7 1DP and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
