THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(STOCKWELL ROAD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the have made Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding along Stockwell Road at its junction with Clifton Road.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, it is anticipated that the road closure will be in place from between the hours of 08:00-17:00 from the 16 March 2026 to the 18 March 2026 (approximately).
The vehicular diversion route is: Stockwell Road, Danescourt Road, Wergs Road vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate building a new telecoms
chamber by City Fibre.
