TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION OF C329 CHURCH STREET (NEWENT TOWN) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the C329 Church Street from outside of the property known as ‘St Mary’s Church’ to its junction with Church Way, for a total distance of approximately 150 metres.

There will be no waiting, stopping, or loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.

The reason for this closure and restriction is for works on behalf of Severn Trent Water.

The said road is expected to be restricted from 08:00hrs on 18th March 2026 until 17:00hrs on 20th March 2026 only or until the works have been completed whichever is the earlier. Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C95 Gotherington Lane from its junction with Sanderling Way to its junction with Mirabelle Road for a distance of approximately 145 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works on behalf of Severn Trent Water
The said road is expected to be closed on between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 on 15th March 2026 only. 

However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

The reason for the said closure is for pole replacement works.

The said road is expected to be closed between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 on 17th March 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

The reason for the said closure is for works by Network Rail.

The said road is expected to be closed from 14th March 2026 until 15th March 2026 only or until the said works have been completed.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of B4216 Ledbury Road and Footway from its junction with B4215 to outside the property known as ‘The Lynch’ for a distance of approximately 800 metres.

The reason for the said closure is Brick parapet repair. Closure to enable safe works area. 1st closure to install scaffolding. 2nd closure to complete parapet repair.

The said road and footway are expected to be closed from the 20th March 2026 until 27th March 2026 only or until the works have been completed.

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council intend to make a Variation Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which would vary the Gloucestershire County Council On Street Parking Order 2017 (the 2017 Order) by introducing the proposed waiting restrictions detailed in the Schedule below on various roads in the Taylor Wimpey Perrybrook development, Brockworth, Gloucestershire.
