(AMENDMENT NO. 10) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intends to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 32, 35 to 39 and 45 to 55 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to amend “The Northamptonshire County Council (Kettering District) (Waiting and Loading Restrictions and On-Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2020” as specified in the Schedule below.
A COPY of the proposed Order, together with a plan showing the exact lengths of roads to which it relates and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected on the Council’s website at www.northnorthants.gov.uk (search traffic regulation orders) and may also inspected at Kier Highways, Brixworth Depot, Old Harborough Road, Brixworth, Northants, NN6 9BX at a time and date specified by appointment only by calling 01604 529700.
MAKING REPRESENTATIONS OR OBJECTIONS any person wishing to object to, support, or comment on the proposed Order must do so in writing to: Traffic Orders Section, Kier Highways, Brixworth Depot, Old Harborough Road, Brixworth, NN6 9BX or by email to NNCParkingenquiries@kier.co.uk, stating the grounds for their objection or representation, to be received no later than 2nd April 2026.

Saunders Close, Kettering – from the existing double yellow lines on the north side of the carriageway for 53 metres towards the Henley Centre access. Caswell Close, Kettering – from the existing double yellow lines at the junction with Pipers Hill Road on the west side of the carriageway for 68 metres towards property no.1. Surrey Road, Kettering – for 25 metres around the southern side of the carriage junction with Northumberland Road. Telford Way, Henson Way, Kettering – proposed changes to parts of the existing restrictions and additional at various locations around the estate
PROPOSED REMOVAL OF NO WAITING AT ANYTIME RESTRICTIONS
(DOUBLE YELLOW LINES) PROPOSED NO WAITING AT TIMES RESTRICTIONS
Garrard Way, Kettering – section of 50 metres adjacent to the sub-station.
(SINGLE YELLOW LINES) MON-FRI 8AM-6PM 2 HOURS NO RETURN WITHIN 1 HOUR
Barton Road, Barton Seagrave – these restrictions are between the proposed double yellow lines from a point at the boundary of 252a for 61 metres in a northerly direction and the same on the opposite side of the carriageway. Water Street, Kettering – for 35 metres in between the existing double yellow lines.
