Traffic Orders (Procedure) (EnglanOff Street Parking Place) Order 2026d and Wales) Regulations 1996
The Fylde Borough Council (Ballam Road Off Street Parking Place) Order 2026 (Order)
1. Fylde Borough Council gives notice that it has
made an Order under section 1 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) the effect of
which is as follows:
To regulate the use of Ballam Road Car Park by
introducing restrictions on waiting and parking,
including the designation of parking places,
maximum stay limits, charging periods, and
conditions of use.
2. The Order comes into operation on 4th March
2026.
3. Access to properties adjoining the road will not
be affected by the Order
4. A copy of the Order as made, plans showing the
parts of the highway affected and a statement of
the traffic authority’s reasons for making the Order
may be inspected free of charge at Fylde Borough
Council, Town Hall, Lytham St Annes, FY8 1LW
between the hours of 9am till 5pm Monday to
Friday (excluding bank holidays and public
holidays) for 6 weeks from the date of this notice.
5. Any person wishing to challenge the Order on
the grounds that it is not within the powers of the
RTRA 1984 or that any requirements of that, or of
any instrument made under it have not been
complied with may apply to the High Court within
six weeks following 4th March 2026.
