THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(LEGGE STREET) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council have made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Legge Street from the junction of Parkfield Crescent to outside property 8.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 08:00 on 16th March 2026 until 17:00 on 20th March 2026.
The diversion route is: Legge Street, Myatt Close, Myatt Avenue, Parkfield Road, Parkfield Crescent and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate a S108 sewer connection for a new development by JP Groundworks Ltd.
