Portsmouth City Council (Spring Gardens) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.46) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 13th March 2026 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
SPRING GARDENS
In its entirety.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate crane works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 13th March 2026 to 30th April 2026 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from King Henry 1 Street.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion.
