Granada Road - Temporary Road Closure

Portsmouth City Council (Granada Road) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.42) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 13th March 2026 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
GRANADA ROAD
From its junction with Chewter Close to outside No. 3 Granada Road.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate water works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 9:30 to 15:30 on 13th March 2026 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Chewter Close, Granada Road, The Strand Roundabout, Clarendon Road, South Parade, St Helens Parade and Granada Road, St Helens Parade, South Parade, Clarendon Road, The Strand Roundabout.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
