(PIERSHILL SQUARE WEST) (TEMPORARY ROAD
RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026 – TEMP/26/41
The Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate footway reconstruction works, no person shall: (a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on any part of and (b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on any part of: Piershill sq West, in its entirety. Existing parking restrictions will be suspended on the affected section of road described in (b). The one-way (clockwise) restriction on Piershill sq West will be suspended to facilitate local access & access for vehicles in actual use with the undertaking of the works There is no available diversion with respect to the closure of Piershill sq West, where local access will be maintained. The order shall have effect from 16/03/26 to 01/05/26.
