U16B - TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
“The Aberdeenshire Council (U16B Rathen Station Road – 17.03.26) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order, 2026” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The order will operate from 17.03.26 for 8 days and will prohibit any person from driving on U16B Rathen Station Road from the U15B at Little Invernorth to Newmill Cottages.
Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety due to work for a telecom company. An alternative route is available via the U15B to TR A90, TR A90 to U16B and U16B and vice versa.
