THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (CEMETERY LANE AND PROVIDENCE STREET, RIPLEY) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING)
TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026

Notice is hereby given that Derbyshire County Council proposes to make the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be, in respects of roads in Ripley, Derbyshire in the District of Amber Valley, is as follows:
TO PROHIBIT WAITING AT ANY TIME BY VEHICLES (EXCEPT THOSE DELIVERING OR COLLECTING GOODS OR LOADING AND UNLOADING) ON THE FOLLOWING LENGTHS OF ROAD:
Cemetery Lane, Ripley
North side
From the Ripley Cemetery Access in a westerly direction, for a distance of 68 metres.
From the Ripley Cemetery Access in an easterly direction, for a distance of 11 metres.
Cemetery Lane, Ripley
South side
From the Cemetery Lane / Providence Street junction in a easterly direction, for a distance of 14 metres.
Providence Street, Ripley
East side
From the Cemetery Lane/Providence Street junction in a southernly direction, for a distance of 6 metres.
A copy of the Order and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection at the County Council’s principal offices known as County Hall on Smedley Street in Matlock, at Ripley Library, 21 Grosvenor Road, Ripley, Derbyshire, DE5 3JE, during opening hours and on request by emailing

until 6 weeks after the Order is made.
All objections and other representations to the proposal must (a) be made in writing (b) state the grounds on which they are made (c) provide a name and address for contact purposes (d) be sent to the Executive Director – Place, Derbyshire County Council, County Hall, Matlock DE4 3AG (For Attention of Traffic and Safety Team quoting reference Z3449) or email
