Surface Dressing and Associated Activities
Ashcroft Drive,
Old Whittington
Between 09:30-15:30 or after 16:00 on week days; No restrictions at weekends of holidays
Bower Farm Road, Old Whittington High Street (Service Road), Old Whittington
Between 08:00-20:00 working days only
Cotterhill Lane, Brimington
Between 08:00-20:00 working days only
Manor Road, Brimington
Between 09:30-15:00 and/or 18:30-20:00; Unrestricted at weekends
Old Road, Chesterfield
Between 09:30-15:00 and/or 16:00-20:00; Unrestricted at weekends
Storforth Lane, Birdholme/Hasland
Between 09:30-15:30 and/or after 18:30; Unrestricted at weekends. Associated activities under night closure 19:00-05:00
Advance warning signs will be placed out prior to each closure.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway surface dressing and associated works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Appropriate diversions will be in place
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
