THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:

Borrowstoun Crescent, Bo'ness from 08:00 on 16/03/26 until 23:59 on 23/03/26. The prohibition is to allow for Utility works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Borrowstoun Crescent, Bo'ness from a point adjacent to Douglas Drive in a southerly direction for approximately 200 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is Douglas Drive, Borrowstoun Crescent or vice versa.

Easter Whin Road & Bulliondale Road, by Avonbridge from 07:30 on 16/03/2026 until 17:00 on 26/03/2026 to allow for carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out.
1. This Order temporarily closes:
a) Easter Whins Road, by Avonbridge from its junction with Bulliondale Road to the junction with Drumtassie Road at Easter Greenhill Farm
b) Bulliondale Road, by Avonbridge from its junction with the B8028 to its junction with the B825.
2. The alternative routes is:
a) Easter Whins Road, by Avonbridge – Bulliondale Road, B8028, B825, Drumtassie Road and vice versa.
b) Bulliondale Road, by Avonbridge – B8028, B825 and vice versa.

Glenfuir Street, Camelon from 08:00 on 16/03/26 until 23:59 on 23/03/26. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Glenfuir Street, Camelon from a point adjacent to Fairlie Drive in a southerly direction for approximately 60 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Fairlie Drive, Fairlie Street, Glenfuir Street or vice versa.

Ochilview Place, Bo'ness from 08:00 until 17:00 on 18/03/26. The prohibition is to allow for Telecommunications works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Ochilview Place, Bo'ness from a point adjacent to Ochilview Road in a northerly direction for approximately 50 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Ochilview Road, Bomains Road, Jamieson Avenue, Ochilview Place or vice versa.
