ORDER 2007 (AMENDMENT NO. 1) ORDER 2026



On 2 March 2026 Shropshire Council made an order to introduce a 20mph speed limit around Highley Community Primary School in Highley, as follows:

20mph Speed Limit

Elizabeth Grove The whole length.
Redstone Drive The whole length.
Willow Drive The whole length.
Grasmere Drive The whole length.
Valley View The whole length.
Clee Rise The whole length.
Carlton Rise The whole length.
Greendale Close The whole length.
Jubilee Drive The whole length.
Hitchens Way The whole length.

Any existing speed limits at the above locations will be revoked.
These changes will come into effect on 13 March 2026.

(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2009 (REDSTONE DRIVE, HIGHLEY) (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2026

On 2 March 2026 Shropshire Council made an order to introduce the following parking restrictions in Highley:

Prohibition of Stopping on School Keep Clear markings
Redstone Drive (western side)
Situated between points located 18 metres and 61 metres south of its junction with Clee Rise.

These changes will come into effect on 13 March 2026.

Copies of the orders may be examined during normal office hours (8:45am- 5:00pm Monday to Thursday, and 8:45am-4:00pm on Fridays) at Shropshire Council, The Guildhall, Frankwell, Shrewsbury.

If you wish to question the validity of either Order, or any provisions in it, on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from 2 March 2026, apply for that purpose to the High Court.
