The following public notices were served on Thursday 12th March 2026:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following temporary traffic regulation Order under Sections 14(1) and 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (SNELSHALL STREET (PART), WESTCROFT) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2348)
The effect of the above-named traffic regulation Order will be to temporarily close Snelshall Street, Westcroft to enable Hutchinson 3G to undertake work to complete telecoms upgrade works.
Snelshall Street, Westcroft – from its junction with Picton Street to its junction with Whitney Roundabout.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Chaffron Way, Tattenhoe Street and Childs Way (and vice versa).
The closures take effect from 23rd until 24th March 2026 (09:30 – 15:30).
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (PADSTOW AVENUE (PART), FISHERMEAD) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2377)
The effect of the above-named traffic regulation Order will be to temporarily close Padstow Avenue, Fishermead to enable National Grid to undertake work to complete trenching works.
Padstow Avenue, Fishermead – between numbers 52 and 58.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route, however access will be provided where safe to do so.
The closures take effect from 23rd until 27th March 2026 (24 Hours)

MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (GREGORIES DRIVE (PART), WAVENDON GATE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2330)
The effect of the above-named traffic regulation Order will be to temporarily close Gregories Drive, Wavendon Gate to enable Milton Keynes City Council to undertake work to divert utilities in preparation for the H10 Extension Project.
Gregories Drive, Wavendon Gate – from its junction with Bletcham Way to its junction with Byrd Crescent.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Britten Grove and Byrd Crescent (and vice versa).
The closures take effect from 27th March until 14th April 2026 (24 Hours)
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (FILGRAVE TO A509 (PART), FILGRAVE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2380)
The effect of the above-named traffic regulation Order will be to temporarily close Filgrave to A509 to enable National Grid to undertake tree trimming works safely.
Filgrave to A509, Filgrave – from its junction with the entrance to St Mary’s Church for 500 metres in a westerly direction.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via A509, High Street, Sherington Road, Northampton Road and road from Northampton Road to Filgrave (and vice versa).
The closures take effect on 25TH March 2026 (09:30 – 15:30).
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 10th March 2026, made the following temporary traffic regulation Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS MILTON KEYNES – THE FESTIVAL OF RUNNING EVENT) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2232)
The effect of the above-named traffic regulation Order, will be introduce the following temporary restrictions to enable the Festivall of Running Event to take place on Sunday 15th March 2026:-
To temporarily close parts of Avebury Boulevard (including any car parking area access roads where relevant) and Marlborough Gate in Central Milton Keynes, V7 Saxon Street, H6 Childs Way, H7 Chaffron Way, The Spur Road and Golden Drive in Eaglestone, Waterside in Peartree Bridge, Flaxley Gate in Monkston, Colindale Street in Monkston Park and Tanfield Lane, Milton Road and Swanwick Lane in Broughton.
To temporarily prohibit right turn manoeuvres on to V7 Saxon Street from its junctions with H6 Childs Way, H7 Chaffron Way and Fulwoods Drive, Leadenhall and to prohibit right turn manoeuvres onto Saxon Street from Avebury Boulevard in Central Milton Keynes.
The above temporary restrictions will take effect on Sunday 15th March 2026 (between the hours of 6:00am and 2.00pm. The roads will re-open once the runners have passed through.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (BRIDLEWAY 015 AND MILLERS WAY (PARTS), BLUE BRIDGE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2356)
The effect of the above-named traffic regulation Order will be to temporary close part of Millers Way and Bridleway 015 to enable the Council to undertake resurfacing and maintenance works.
Bridleway 015, Blue Bridge – from Redway BB01 Blue Bridge to Redway BT04 Bancroft.
Whilst the above length of bridleway is closed, the alternative route will be via Redway BV02, Redway BV01, Redway BV03, Redway BB02, Redway BT01 and Redway BT04 (and vice versa).
Millers Way, Blue Bridge – from Morton Fork to Bradville Roundabout.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Great Monks Street, Monks Way and Grafton Street (and vice versa).
The closures take effect from 16th March to 27th April 2026 (24 Hours).
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (CROFTS END AND HIGH STREET (PARTS), SHERINGTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2323)
The effect of the above-named Order will be to temporarily close the following lengths of road to enable Network Plus to undertake work to replace a gas main.
Crofts End, Sherington from Bedford Road to School Lane.
The closure take effect from 16th March to 9th April 2026 (24 Hours)
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be Sherington Road, Chicheley Hill and Bedford Road (and vice versa).
High Street, Sherington from Crofts End to Leys View.
The closure take effect from 30th March to 12th April 2026 (24 Hours)
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be Sherington Road, Chicheley Hill and A509 (and vice versa).
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (WINDERMERE DRIVE (PART), BLETCHLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2359)
The effect of the above-named traffic regulation Order will be to temporarily close Windermere Drive, Bletchley (from Ness Way to Cullen Place) to enable Engcon Construction to undertake work to complete resurfacing and reinstatements.
The closure take effect from 16th to 27th March 2026 (24 Hours).
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Stoke Road.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (STATION ROAD (PART), WOBURN SANDS) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2221)
The effect of the above-named Order will be to temporarily close part of Station Road, Woburn Sands (from its junction with Summerlin Drive to its junction with Turnpike Court) to enable Network Rail to undertake maintenance works at the level crossing.
The closure will take effect from 11:00pm on 14th March 2026 to 4:30am on 16th March 2026.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Newport Road, A421, Bedford Road, Salford Road, A507, A4012, Turnpike Road and Crawley Road (vice versa).

MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF MILTON KEYNES) (VARIOUS ROADS, WEST BLETCHLEY) (CONSOLIDATION OF PARKING AND WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING) ORDER 2002) VARIATION ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 10th March 2026 made the above Traffic Regulation Order, under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3) and 4(2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the above Traffic Regulation Order.
The general effect of the above made Order will be to introduce no waiting at any time restrictions (double yellow lines) along parts of Melrose Avenue, Dorchester Avenue, Whalley Drive and Banburies Close in West Bletchley (as proposed on 29th January 2026).
The made Order will take effect on 13th March 2026.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the made Order or any provision contained in the Orders on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any Instrument made under the Act has not been compiled with may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply to the High Court for that purpose.
