TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
Comhairle nan Eilean Siar proposes to make “The Comhairle nan Eilean Siar (Bayhead, North Uist) (20mph Speed Limit) Temporary Road Traffic Regulation Order 2026” under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will apply between Monday 23rd March 2026 and Thursday 23rd September 2027.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving or causing or permitting to be driven any vehicles on the following road, or sections of road where specified, at a speed exceeding 20mph:
Paible Circular Road from a point 100m south of the junction with the A865 then southerly beyond Sgoil Uibhist a Tuath to a point 45m west of the Kyles Paible junction, an overall distance of 525m or thereby.
