C131 DISTRICT BOUNDARY BOTHAL BRIDGE TO
SHADFEN BOTHAL
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections in the County of Northumberland: C131 Shadfen Junction To Bothal Bridge for it entire length.
C131 District Boundary Bothal Bridge To Shadfen from its junction with C395 Pegswood Cemetery To Bothal Bank for a distance of
207 metres in a south-westerly direction.
The Order is to be effective from the 31st March 2026 until the 3rd April 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 31st March 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 3rd April 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C395, A1068, A196 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
C103 ACKLINGTON JUNCTION TO
MORWICK ROAD WARKWORTH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C103 Acklington Junction to Morwick Road from its junction with the C104 heading in a northerly direction for a length of 1170 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 31st March 2026 until the 7th April 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 31st March 2026 between the hours of 09:30 until 15:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 7th April 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being B6345, A1068, C103 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C121 Linton Lane from its point 18 metres north-east of its junction with C121 Old Moor Stead Junction To Linton Lane Linton for a distance of 469 metres in a northerly direction in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 6th April 2026 until the 6th October 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 6th April 2026 until the 31st May 2026 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 6th October 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C121, C120, A1068, C125, C121 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly. C181 SILVERTON LANE ROTHBURY
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C181 Silverton Lane Rothbury from its point at Whitton Farm in a southerly direction for a length of 625 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 5th April 2026 until the 24th April 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 5th April 2026 until the 17th April 2026 and that the road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 24th April 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being B6342, C182, C181 and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U3136 ST LAWRENCE AVENUE AMBLE
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U3136 St Lawrence Avenue Amble from its junction with Kennedy Road heading in a north easterly direction for a length of 20 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 16th March 2026 until the 31st March 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 16th March 2026 until the 20th March 2026 and that it will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 31st March 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being Ivy Street, Leslie Drive, Saint Lawrence Avenue and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The above Order was made on 12th November 2025, under section 119 of the Highways Act, 1980, and was confirmed on 25th February 2026.
The effect of the Order will be as follows:Public Footpath No 39 (Alnwick Town)
To extinguish the footpath, from a point 13 metres west of number 10 Draper Close (OS grid ref: NU 18360 11647), in a general north, northwesterly direction for a distance of 28 metres, to a point 29 metres north-west of number 10 Draper Close, then in a general north-westerly direction for a distance of 93 metres, to a point 120 metres north-west of number 11 Draper Close (NU 18269 11718).
To create a 1.5 metre wide footpath, from a point 13 metres west of number 10 Draper Close (OS grid ref: NU 18360 11647), in a general north-westerly direction for a distance of 120 metres, to a point 120 metres north-west of number 11 Draper Close (NU 18269 11718).
