(HALLIDAYS PARK, SELKIRK) (TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2026
The Scottish Borders Council (Hallidays Park, Selkirk) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026
has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 16 March 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 17:00 on 27 March 2026. The Order is required for SGN works (mains replacement).
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Hallidays Park, Selkirk. The alternative route for south eastbound traffic is via Ettrick Terrace, Chapel Street and Hallidays Park to the point of closure, for north westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. Access to properties shall be maintained.

(SOUTH WEST SECTION, BOLESIDE ROAD CAR
PARK, GALASHIELS) (TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2026
The Scottish Borders Council (South West Section, Boleside Road Car Park, Galashiels) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 18 March and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 18 May 2026. The Order is required to allow BEAR Scotland to carry out bridge works.
When the Order comes into effect, in the interests of public safety, no person shall:
(a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle; and
(b) permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked on the South West Section of Boleside Road Car Park, Galashiels,.

HUNTLAW AND MUIRFIELD FARM)
(REGULATIONS OF ACCESS RIGHTS) BYELAWS 2025
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Scottish Ministers in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 12 of the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003, and all other powers enabling them in that regard have confirmed the Scottish Borders Council (Land at Huntlaw and Muirfield Farm)(Regulations of Access Rights) Byelaws 2025 (hereinafter referred to as “the Byelaw”) submitted by the Scottish Borders Council
2. The Byelaw as confirmed restricts the right of access over the area of land at Huntlaw and Muirfield Farm, Hassendean, Hawick, identified more particularly in the plan attached to the published byelaw.
3. A copy of the confirmed byelaws and associated maps have been deposited at the Council’s Contact Centre, 34/44 High Street, Hawick and may be seen there without payment of fee between the hours of 10:00 am and 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm and 3:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. A copy is also available to view at Council Headquarters, Newtown St Boswells and may be seen between the hours of 8:45am and 5:00pm Monday to Thursday. A copy of the confirmed byelaw and associated plan have also been published on the Council website – www.scotborders.gov.uk/byelaws
4. The Order as confirmed becomes operative on 2 April 2026.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026
The Scottish Borders Council (Netherdale Car Park, Galashiels) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 18:00 on 18 March 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 20:00 on 19 March 2026. The Order is required to allow Event to take place.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall (i) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle; and (ii) permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked in the west section of Netherdale Car Park, Galashiels.
