Camberley - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order

Crawley Ridge (D3509) Camberley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 10 March 2026 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to (a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Crawley Ridge (D3509) Camberley as extends from its junction with (D3522) Elsenwood Drive to its junction with (X3509) Silverwood Drive. Alternative Route – Crawley Ridge; Gibbet Lane; A235 Portsmouth Road; Crawley Hill; and Crawley Ridge; and (b) Suspend “Surrey County Council Various in Surrey Heath Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.1) 2025” insofar as it affects that length of road specified in part (a). This 12-month Temporary Traffic Order which commences on 17 March 2026 is required to facilitate telegraph pole installation works and/or telegraph pole replacement works and/or cabling works and/or any other associated works to be carried out by, or on behalf of Morrisons Telecoms Ltd within the length of road described in this notice. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible over 1 day between the hours of 9.30am and 2.45pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will operate only when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for Residents within the closure area, the emergency services, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times via operatives on site, all other traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route.

Broadway Road (C4) Windlesham and Lightwater By-Pass (A322) Lightwater Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 10 March 2026 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; ( a) Broadway Road (C4) Windlesham as extends from its junction with (D21) Hook Mill Lane to its junction with (C4) All Saints Road. Alternative Route: (1) Broadway Road, Church Road, New Road, (A322) Bagshot By-Pass, (A322) Lightwater By-Pass, Guildford Road, and Broadway Road; (2) Broadway Road, Guildford Road, (A322) Lightwater By-Pass, (A322) Bagshot By-Pass, (A322) Bracknell Road, (A30) London Road, (A322) Grove End, (A322) Bagshot By-Pass, New Road, Church Road, and Broadway Road; (b) the eastbound carrigeway of (A322) Lightwater By-Pass as extends from its roundabout with (A322) Bagshot By-Pass and (M3) Junction 3 Slip Road; (c) the westbound carriageway of (A322) Lightwater By-Pass as extends from its roundabout with (A322) Gordons School Roundabout and (B311) Red Road to its roundabout with (A322) Bagshot By-Pass and (M3) Junction 3 Slip Road.
Alternative Route: (C5) Guildford Road. This Order is required to facilitate bridge improvement works for, or on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible, during the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 27 March 2026.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. It will not be possible to maintain access through the closure for emergency services, residents and businesses and all vehicular traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises within the length of road above, or accessible only therefrom, may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.

Kings Ride (D3402) Camberley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 10 March 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic from entering or proceeding in that length of Kings Ride (D3402) Camberley as extends from its junction with (A30) London Road to its junction with (X3402) Bath Road. Alternative Route: (A30) London Road, Caesars Camp Road, Upper College Ride, College Ride, and Kings Ride, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate traffic signal works for, or on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 days, within the 18-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 23 March 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Silver Drive (D3491) Frimley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Silver Drive (D3491) Frimley as extends from its junction with (D3491) Herrick Close to its junction with (D3489) Goldney Road. Alternative Route: Goldney Road, Edgemoor Road, and Silver Drive, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate new water utility works for, or on behalf of Thames Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day, between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm, within the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 10 April 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency service vehicles, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other vehicular traffic, including residents, will be required to use the signed diversion route. The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises within the length of road above, or accessible only therefrom, may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.

Walkers Ridge (D3526) Camberley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Walkers Ridge (D3526) Camberley. This Order is required to facilitate utility works for, or on behalf of Circet UK LTD. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days, between the hours of 9.30am and 4pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 06 April 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists. There is no alternative route for this closure.
