NOTICE OF MODIFICATION ORDER WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 – SECTION 53

The Definitive Map of Public Rights of Way in Cambridgeshire
Relevant Date: 11th May 2016
(Public Footpath No. 12, Caldecote) Definitive Map Modification Order 2025

On 20 February 2026 Cambridgeshire County Council confirmed the above Order. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by adding to them a public footpath commencing at a junction with West Drive (public road) at OSGR TL 3537 5915 and proceeds generally east-south-east for approximately 125 metres to a junction with Highfields Road (public road) at OSGR TL 3549 5911 as shown on the Order Map.

A copy of the Order as confirmed, and the Order Map have been deposited and may be inspected free of charge at the offices of the South Cambridgeshire District Council, South Cambridgeshire Hall, Great Cambourne, Cambourne, CB23 6EA and of the undersigned during normal office hours. Copies of the Order and Order Map may be purchased at the latter at the price of £16.20. Copies are also available on our website: https://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/residents/

The Order became operative as from date of confirmation, but if any person aggrieved by the Order desires to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or on the ground that requirements of the Act, or of any regulation made thereunder, have not been complied with in relation to the Order, they may before 22 April 2026 make an application of the purpose to the High Court.
