What is happening?

THE PORTSMOUTH CITY COUNCIL
(OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES)
(CAMBER QUAY) ORDER 2026


1. Notice is hereby given that the Portsmouth City Council made the above Order on 6 March 2026
The effect of the Order will be to:
a. To confirm the name of the car park adjacent to East Street, as "Camber Quay Car Park" (previously "INEOS TEAM UK Car Park")
b. To confirm the name of the off-street parking places accessed via the north side of East Street, as "Camber Quay Parking" (previously "INEOS TEAM UK Parking)
2. Copies of the Notice, made Order and Statement of Reasons are available to view on Portsmouth City Council’s website: Search 'Traffic Regulation Orders 2026’ at

www.portsmouth.gov.uk.

Alternatively, they can be viewed at the Civic Offices, Guildhall Square, PO1 2AL, Monday to Friday between 9am - 4pm. Printed copies can be obtained by calling 023 9260 6480.
3. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act, or that a requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of the Order, make application for this purpose to the High Court.
4. This Order comes into operation on 12 March 2026.
