Somerset, Temporary Road Closure Due To Sewer Repair Works
What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Old Cleeve Temporary Closure of Roadwater To White Horse Pub
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Roadwater To White Horse Pub - from 122 metres southwest of the junction with Abbey Road, south-westwards for a total distance of 304 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to repair cracked sewer to prevent flooding. The Order becomes effective on 19th March 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 23rd March 2026 and last until 24th March 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 2 days.
