The Bromley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2003 (Amendment No. **) Order 202

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the Order would be to:
(a) Introduce new ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions as set out in the Schedule 1 to this Notice.
(b) Introduce new Monday to Friday waiting restrictions operating between 8.00am and 10.00am and 2.00pm and 4.00pm as set out in Schedule 2 to this Notice.
(c) convert existing Monday to Saturday waiting restrictions operating between 8.30am and 6.30pm to Monday to Friday waiting restrictions operating between 8.00am and 10.00am and 2.00pm and 4.00pm as set out in Schedule 3 to this Notice.
(d) convert existing Monday to Saturday waiting restrictions operating between 8.30am and 6.30pm to No Waiting ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions as set out in Schedule 4 to this Notice.
(e) convert existing Monday to Friday waiting restrictions operating between 11.00am and 12.00pm to No Waiting ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions as set out in Schedule 5 to this Notice.
(f) convert existing Monday to Friday waiting restrictions operating between 11.00am and 12.00pm to Monday to Friday waiting restrictions operating between 8.00am and 10.00am and 2.00pm and 4.00pm as set out in Schedule 6 to this Notice.
(g) convert existing Monday to Saturday waiting restrictions operating between 8.00am and 6.30pm to No Waiting ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions as set out in Schedule 7 to this Notice.
(h) introduce new Monday to Friday loading restrictions operating between 8.00am and 10.00am and 2.00pm and 4.00pm as set out in Schedule 8 to this Notice.
Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Order.
Copies of the proposed Order, plans and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected during normal office hours Monday to Friday at Bromley Council, Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley BR1 1AS.
ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Assistant Director of Traffic and Parking, Bromley Council, Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley BR1 1AS, or by email to TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk quoting reference ADE(TP)/RP/T825 no later than 25th March 2026.
Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.

BETTS WAY, PENGE (a) north-west side (i) from a point 0.7 metres north of the northern flank wall of No. 4 in a south-westerly direction to its southern extremity (a) south-side (ii) the entirety of the southern kerb line (c) south-east side (i) from a point opposite the south-western flank wall of No. 2 Bigsworth Court in a southerly direction for a distance of 4.4 metres.
DEACONS LEAS, ORPINGTON (a) both sides (i) from its junction with Tubbenden Lane in a westerly direction for a distance of 10 metres
HIGHFIELD DRIVE, WEST WICKHAM (a) both sides (i) from a point 10 metres north-west of the north-western kerb line of The Grove in a south-easterly direction to a point 10 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb line of The Grove.
THE GROVE, WEST WICKHAM (a) north-west side (i) from a point 10 metres south-west of southern kerb line of Highfield Drive in a north-easterly direction to a point 3.6 metres north-east of the northern kerb line of Highfield Drive (b) south-east side (i) from a point 10 metres south-west of southern kerb line of Highfield Drive in a north-easterly direction to a point 3.1 metres north-east of the northern kerb line of Highfield Drive.
TILE FARM ROAD, ORPINGTON (a) both sides (i) from its junction with Tubbenden Lane, in a north-westerly direction for a distance of 10 metres.
TUBBENDEN LANE, ORPINGTON (a) west side (i) from a point 35 metres south of the southern kerb line of Deacons Leas in a northern direction for a distance of 22.5 metres north of the northern kerb line of Deacons Leas (b) east side (i) from the northern kerb line of Curzon Close north-easterly direction to a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 181 and 183 Tubbenden Lane (c) north-west side (i) from a point 8.6 metres north-east of the northern kerb line of Ashbourne Rise, in a southerly direction for a distance of 32 metres.
