What is happening?
ABERDEENSHIRE COUNCIL
C2B – TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
“The Aberdeenshire Council (C2B from U3b to
A981 – 16.03.26) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order, 2026” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The order will operate from 16.03.26 for 12 days and will prohibit any person from driving on the C2B from the U3b to the A981.
Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety during cabling works. An alternative route is available via the U3b, C4b, A950, C2b and vice versa.
