DUDLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council have made the following Order,
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Old Hawne Lane, Grammar School Lane and Whitefriars Drive, Halesowen) Order 2026 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit traffic from proceeding on Old Hawne Lane, Grammar School Lane and Whitefriars Drive, Halesowen, for the purpose of gas replacement works being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 16.03.2026 and will remain in force until 03.04.2026 or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will be diverted via: Old Hawne Lane, Whittingham Road, Furnace Lane, Stourbridge Road (island), and vice versa. No diversion is available for Whitefriars Drive as it is a cul-de-sac.
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Yew Tree Hills, Netherton) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Yew Tree Hills, Netherton, for the purpose of gas mains connections being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 16.03.2026 and will remain in force until 27.03.2026 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will be diverted via: Marriott Road, Griffin Street, Hockley Lane, Yew Tree Hills, and vice versa.
Access to frontages and for emergency vehicles will be maintained where safe to do so.
