ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – (AS AMENDED) THE STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 4 ENVILLE PARISH (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Staffordshire County Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along the section of Public Footpath No. 4 Enville Parish Junction with the A458 to the junction with Morfe Lane for approximately
1Km.
The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) due to the unsafe condition of the footbridge and subsequent works required.
No alternative route is available.
A plan will be displayed on site to show the length of path to be closed and unaffected rights of way in the area.
This Order came into operation on 11/9/25 and has been extended for a further period of 12 months, until 11/3/27 or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier. This extension has been given approval by the Secretary of State. If necessary, the Order may be extended for a further period.
