THE COUNTY OF PEMBROKE

(SEVERAL ROADS IN THE WISTON AREA) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that Pembrokeshire County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.

The Order is necessary so that Telecom fibre infrastructure works can be carried out.

The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit all vehicular traffic other than exempted vehicles from proceeding along those sections of road identified in the schedule to this notice.

It is intended that the restrictions, which will be signed accordingly, will come into effect on Monday 9th March 2026 for approximately 6 weeks between 08:00hrs-17:00hrs.

These works will be carried out on a rolling programme to minimise disruption. The alternative route for traffic will be determined and signed accordingly as works progress.

The Order will remain valid for a maximum period of 18 months as a contingency should the works need to be rescheduled or in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.

From its junction with the C3011 Wiston to Clarbeston Road road, west to its junction with the U6153 road leading to New Bridge

From its junction with the C3012 Wiston to Crundale road, south to a point near the access leading to the property known as The Old Vicarage

Unclassified (U6153) road leading to New Bridge

From its junction with the C3012 Wiston to Crundale road, northwest to its junction with the C3002 Crundale to Clarbeston Road road

Rhoddir HYSBYSIAD drwy hyn bod Cyngor Sir Penfro wedi gwneud gorchymyn o dan adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 fel y’i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991.

Mae’r gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol fel y gellir gweithiau ar y seilwaith ffibr telathrebu.

Effaith y gorchymyn fydd gwahardd dros dro bob traffig cerbydol heblaw am gerbydau esempt rhag mynd ar hyd y rhannau hynny o’r ffyrdd a nodir yn yr atodlen i’r hysbysiad hwn.

Y bwriad yw y bydd y cyfyngiadau, a fydd yn cael eu dangos gan arwyddion ffyrdd, yn dod i rym ddydd Llun 9 Mawrth 2026 am oddeutu chwe wythnos rhwng 8am a 5pm.

Bydd y gwaith yn cael ei wneud ar raglen dreigl er mwyn tarfu cyn lleied â phosibl. Bydd y llwybr amgen ar gyfer traffig yn cael ei bennu a’i ddangos ag arwyddion ffyrdd yn unol â hynny wrth i’r gwaith fynd yn ei flaen.

Bydd y gorchymyn yn parhau i fod yn ddilys am uchafswm o 18 mis fel cynllun wrth gefn pe bai angen ail-drefnu’r gwaith, neu os bydd unrhyw amgylchiadau annisgwyl.
